Privacy Policy
Mindful of the need to protect the vital privacy of its customers, Spline Network Inc. ("the Company") hereby publishes its policy on the gathering and use of customers' personal information. The Company will base its actions on this policy, following exacting standards while protecting, managing, administering and using customers' personal information. Please remain aware that this policy could change when conditions warrant.
Protection of Privacy
1. Collection of registered information
In order to facilitate its business operations and provide new services applied for online, the Company receives a wide range of personal information from customers. The Company will not disclose customers' personal information to a third party except in any of the following cases.
- When the customer gives prior consent to have the information disclosed to a third party. (The information will only be provided to a third party if the Company receives prior consent by email from the customer.) The customer retains the right to consent or not consent.
- When the Company must disclose information to a company that provides the Company's services to the customer, and that has signed a confidentiality agreement with the Company.
- When a public organization requires that the information be disclosed for the public good, or when the information is to be used for a database required to produce business materials for the Company, in which case specified personal names will be converted into non-identifiable data.
- When the police or some other public organization requires that the Company disclose the information.
2. Viewing of personal information; storage period
If a customer of the Company wishes to view their own personal information, it will be disclosed to them promptly. To ensure that the personal information is kept up to date, if there is a change in any of their personal information customers will promptly follow procedures to update that information. The Company will otherwise manage the information under its own responsibility. Personal information will be stored only as long as the customer receives services from the Company. All traces of a customer's personal information will be removed when the service contract is annulled.
3. Another reason for gathering information (for an emagazine)
The Company may publish an emagazine to provide customers with information that is listed on its websites or that is required as part of its website management. The emagazine will be sent to customers to inform them of events, campaigns and pressing issues.
4. In-company training to ensure protection of personal information
At suitable times and when necessary, the Company provides its employees and other relevant personnel with training on protecting and handling customers' personal information, to ensure that such personal information is protected.
The Company is responsible for ensuring that customers' personal information is protected.
5. Amendments to Privacy Policy
As technologies advance and security risk levels change, standards ensuring that the aims of a privacy policy are achieved will change too. Business operations will also change, requiring changes in the content and scope of personal information handled. Therefore, a privacy policy is not fixed, but instead must be continually assessed and revised to conform to conditions. When this Privacy Policy is revised, the Company will notify users.
